Had a fantastic experience at Down Range LLC while taking their conceal carry course. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone looking to get their carry permit. The instructor’s took their time to make sure the entire class understood all of the topics we went over and they made learning the material fun. I will definitely be returning to Down Range to take more of the several classes they have to offer.

recently attended a ladies-only gun safety class, and it was an excellent experience. I’ve been shooting a few times with friends and family before, but this class really helped me understand proper gun safety on a much deeper level.
The instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and supportive. They covered everything from proper stance and shooting technique to safely taking apart and reassembling the firearm. What stood out most was the individual attention—there were three instructors, and each participant got one-on-one guidance, which made a huge difference in building confidence and skills.
I left feeling much more comfortable, informed, and confident in handling a firearm safely. I would highly recommend this class to any woman, whether you’re a beginner or have some experience. It’s a safe, welcoming environment to learn and grow your skills.

Hands down quality training! Firearms training REQUIRES instructors who can take law, information, knowledge, experience, and application to transmit wisdom to students. So when it comes to material as complex as the realm of firearms...go where there is wisdom. Go to Down Range.

My husband and I took a concealed carry class with Down Range, and it was absolutely amazing. I’ve only handled a gun once or twice in my life, and I wanted to build confidence so I could protect my kids, especially when my husband is on shift or when I’m out alone. This 2-day class went far beyond my expectations.

I walked away with not only knowledge but real confidence. The instructors never made me feel stupid for not knowing something or for asking questions, even the “repeat” or “basic” ones. They answered with patience, empathy, and respect every single time. If they didn’t have an answer on the spot, they pulled out their expert resources, dug in, and found it. They even recommended additional materials to keep learning because their passion for safety and education is so strong.

As a brand-new handler, I felt incredibly safe the entire time. The instructors were professional, kind, and approachable, even when I made mistakes or lacked experience. I typically struggle to feel comfortable around men, but I never once felt uneasy in their presence. I would take another class with them in a heartbeat.

Another huge bonus was the wide selection of firearms they brought out for us to try after learning on our own firearms. Being able to handle different ones and see what felt best for me was such a valuable part of the experience. I would have never known otherwise my preference, and it will help me in making a decision on what to carry moving forward.

These instructors are highly trained (with years and years of experience at all levels), intelligent, and genuinely dedicated to making sure you leave both confident and prepared. Down Range is truly one-of-a-kind, and worth every single penny (and then some). I’m already planning to return for more classes, and I’m so thankful I found them!

I final had the opportunity to get my CCL. A friend of mine had asked me if I was interested in joining him this last weekend. I said absolutely I would love to join the class. We started with the important class work on Saturday. It was very educational and informational to say the least. On Sunday we shot our hand guns at the range. Our instructors, Matt and Brad, were amazing. I felt they took the time with each individual person. Whatever question was asked, they answered it. I would highly recommend Down Range if you are interested in getting your CCL. Thank you both for a great weekend, experience and training!
